Mr. Aggrey Rwetsiba retired in 2025 as the Senior Monitoring and Research Coordinator at the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA), serving as the National Focal Point for Protected Areas under the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). With extensive experience in biodiversity conservation, Mr. Rwetsiba has actively contributed to Ugandas implementation of the CBD, focusing on sustainable management and equitable benefit-sharing from genetic resources.
